I served nearly 14 years as a United States Marine before moving into the container industry. The Corps taught me that details matter, that commitments are kept, and that you do not leave someone hanging when they are counting on you. That is the standard I bring to every order, from a 20ft unit dropped in a Detroit driveway to a placement on acreage at the far edge of the state.
I came into this business because buying a container was harder than it needed to be. People were paying for units they had never seen, then meeting a delivery charge nobody had quoted them. That is a solvable problem, and solving it is most of what this company does.
The other half is site knowledge. A property on rural acreage needs a different delivery plan than a tight lot in Detroit. Work sites in Automotive and the supplier base. The assembly plants and stamping, tool and die, and tier one supplier shops across Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Genesee and Ingham counties are the single largest source of container demand in the state, and the yards that serve them order 40ft high cubes for racked parts storage more often than anywhere else in Michigan. run to different timelines than a suburban contractor. A container puts all of it through four points, which is why ground that carries a garage slab without complaint can still let one corner of a container settle an inch and stop the doors closing.. None of that is abstract to me.

Why This Business Exists
Michigan is the largest state east of the Mississippi River once you count the water, the only state in the country built as two separate peninsulas, and it touches four of the five Great Lakes with more freshwater shoreline than any other state
Michigan covers roughly 96,700 square miles counting its share of the Great Lakes, holds 83 counties, and is split into two peninsulas joined by exactly one road, the Mackinac Bridge. People here give directions by holding up a hand, and that is genuinely how the Lower Peninsula reads on a map. Metro Detroit is a dense grid of mile roads laid over heavy clay. The Thumb and the Saginaw Valley are flat, open farm ground where snow drifts across a field and closes a road faster than any snowfall total suggests. West Michigan runs from Grand Rapids out to a shoreline of sand and dune, sitting under the lake effect snow belt every winter. Up north the soil turns to jack pine sand and the county roads thin out into two-tracks. The Upper Peninsula is a third of the land area with a fraction of the people, forest and rock and some of the deepest snow in the eastern half of the country. Delivery planning here follows the season and the ground at least as closely as it follows the road map, because frost, thaw and approach decide what a truck can actually set down.
